Any games that take it easy on the ads?

Main Post:

I've played my fair share of games, and tend to play more on a budget. There are so many games with reasonably fun gameplay that barrage you with unskippable, tiny close button ads. Or those damned "demo" ads that have an incredibly easy click through threshold. Ad free is a nice but obviously mostly unrealistic idea, but are there any solid choices out there that dial it a bit back on interrupting me every 60 seconds?

Thanks ^

Top Comment: All of my games are indie retro open world RPGs, no ads, no in app purchases, and all offline. I ported them from PC to Android. https://play.google.com/store/apps/dev?id=8898949224258005040&hl=en_US

Games which actually play like the fake mobile ads - The Game Room - Straight Dope Message Board

Top Comment: I hate the practice of using fake ads (with completely different gameplay) to sell mobile games. To that end, I’m starting a list of games which feature the actual gameplay shown in the ads. I use android so my links will be for the Google Play Store. Please share any you find.

Mobile games with fair ad watching

Idle slayer is my favourite one. You get random boxes (think like golden cookies in cookie clicker, best example I can think of. Basically you get extra income for a while) but if you watch an ad you can get 5 silver boxes. Silver boxes offer better bonuses, but are completely optional. Watch an ad only if you want a bigger boost. Other than that the game is ad free. Or you can also pay a one time fee for no ads. You just get silver boxes once in a while.

What is currently the best ad provider for games besides admob or UnityAds ?

Main Post:

I have been using unity ads since December, and the revenue was extremely inconsistent (one day alone I got 13$ for few impressions and other days I get almost nothing for 10 times higher impressions for the same countries)and overall performing low. I even notice unity ads isn’t even registering a lot of the completed rewarded video ads or impression.

I have the game both for iOS and Android, and I have players from various types of countries (from western countries like USA,France and Canada to developing asian countries like the Brazil,Phillipines).

The unityAds team aren’t providing a satisfactory reply and keeps saying i need larger impressions to let their algorithms work better for the game. Even when there are multiple Americans and Canadians watching a complete rewarded ad per day, my total revenue per day is an abysmal 0.2$. I use both Interstitial and Rewarded ads.

I’m looking into changing ad networks at this point. Admob isn’t an option. Is Facebook Audience Network any good ?

Top Comment:

I'm very new. My app has only been out a month. I use Unity Ads, Ironsource, and Facebook Audience Network all through AdMob as mediation. I can say that so far (and my game only has 100 downloads so take this with a grain of salt) FAN has been awful. Often not filling ads. If you cant use AdMob then I would look Into Ironsource. It uses Mediation similar to AdMob, though so far AdMob is the only one of those 4 for me that generates any money at all. But with Ironsource you could have FAN and Vungle and others through mediation.

Monster Hunter freedom Unite. My favorite game, however, it has a steep learning curve and some grinding.

Bro who tf makes War thunder mobile ads 😭😭🙏

Top Comment: Marketing team and they use same strategy as any other mobile company. You have all this ads on every website showing some mobile game and it’s nothing like real game. The worst part is that it works, those games are in top charts with milion of downloads, even with fake advertisements
